POLICE STATION
As a commitment towards the fight against crime and to enhance the ongoing
value attached with Samrand, being a premier business location, the
Chairman of Samrand Development (Pty) Limited, has donated a prime stand
and the funds for the erection of a fully functional Police Station.
Earthworks for this 2400 M 2 double storey facility have already commenced
and completion is scheduled for March 1998.
Obvious benefits for companies at Samrand will include the comfort of knowing that assistance is only a few minutes away, should the need arise.
As todays business works beyond the old norm of 9.00a.m. to 5.00p.m., this
support facility will contribute to the added value of working at Samrand.
INTEGRATED SECURITY
On completion of the Police Station, a Private Security company established by the Centurion Community Police Forum will occupy the station jointly with the SA Police Services (SAPS).
The company, although totally independent from the SAPS, will complement the services of the SAPS by providing security guards, patrols, cctv and other related services to both the Samrand Owners Association and Private Investors in need of such a service.
Access routes to Samrand will be monitored on a twenty four hour basis and
all incidents will be reported directly to the SAPS, who will immediately
act as the armed reaction unit for the security company, should this be
required.
