ENGINE:
Original engine was the factory-supplied MerCruiser 5.7/V8 Alpha One engine.
In 2005 this was replaced by a NEW (not refurbished) 270 HP 350, 5.7 Lt V8 marine engine, S/N 217226, supplied by Eagle Engine Sales, and this new engine included Valve Covers, Composite Timing Cover, and Oil Pan. (The engine was supplied in late 2004 and installed in 2005.) Since then, the engine has done less than 100 hours and has been regularly run and maintained.
Engine Specs are as follows:
Displacement: 5.7L 350 CID
Horsepower: 270 hp @ 4400 RPM
Torque: 350 lb-ft @ 3600 RPM

The outdrive unit remains as the original bullet-proof MerCruiser Alpha One Low-Drag Hydrodynamic Torpedo Design Alpha One outdrive.
