Inspection of the boat:
My Sea Ray Sundancer 260 can be viewed & inspected at any time with
reasonable advance notice (2-5 days). The boat is berthed at the
Halifax Harbor Marina in beautiful Daytona Beach, Central Florida, USA.
Directions to get there from I95:
Take exit #260A/SOUTH DAYTONA onto SR-400 E - go 4.7 mi
Turn Left on S RIDGEWOOD AVE(US-1 N) - go 1.0 mi
Turn Right on BELLEVUE AVE - go 0.2 mi
Turn Left on S BEACH ST - go 0.5 mi
Turn Right on BASIN ST - go 0.5 mi
Turn Right on BASIN ST
Arrive at Halifax Yacht Bason East Ramp, on Right
Sea Trials:
Sea trials cost extensive time, and money, but I realize that they are a
vital part of the buying process. I'll be happy to conduct a sea trial for
any serious buyer. If I cannot do the trial myself due to time
constraints, there may be a cost for the prospective buyer if I have to
hire a Captain to do the trial for me; these costs would be refunded to
the buyer if they purchase the vessel.
Purchase Agreement
I can provide a simple Purchase Agreement prior to the sale being
concluded, to satisfy the typical requirements of this type of
transaction.
Payment
In order to provide security for both Buyer and Seller, I am prepared to
use a third-party Escrow ("Trust') account service, which will
over-see the transaction and handle the release of funds as required. The
costs of the Escrow service (usually between $300- and $800) would be
shared equally by both Buyer and Seller. If you do not wish to use an
Escrow service, that's also OK with me, as long as payment is made via a
US Bank Certified Check.
